The alla hopp playground in Deidesheim is deservedly always busy. It's not recommended during the blazing summer heat, however, as there isn't enough shade except in the toddler area. At that time of year, we prefer the adventure garden, also in Deidesheim.
Diverse playground
The playground, designed like a vineyard, has a large sand area for toddlers with a water feature (only open during the summer months), swings, and small slides accessible via climbing ladders. This area is covered. A small merry-go-round is located just outside the playground. Older children will find climbing structures, large slides, and trampolines on the large slope.
Skate park
But you can also have fun here with a skateboard or inline skates. Small ramps with a run-out zone are great for practicing your first moves.
Bring your own picnic or buy one on site.
The area is fenced, but not completely closed. Those without a picnic will find several shopping options opposite, including a bakery and a supermarket.
