Forest and playground during hut hopping
The brilliantly short hike from the Edenkoben Hut to the Nello Hut takes you from playground to playground and back again.

I highly recommend that you don't use the Edenkoben Hut as your starting point, but rather the large hikers' parking lot on the other side of the road. The playground there is simply so lovely that you might not even decide to start your hike afterward.
Only 3.7 kilometers total distance
The entire route is only about 3.7 kilometers long, but it has a considerable incline and descent, so you should definitely consider it if you're planning to take a stroller. Because the stroller can't manage the steep descent, there's a detour at that point. It's signposted and adds an extra 1.5 kilometers to the route.
To the Nellohütte with affordable prices
The trail is rather unspectacular, but the spritzer at the Nello Hut is ice-cold. You can sit comfortably in the shade on the terrace and keep an eye on the playground with its seesaw and swings. The Nello Hut is very rustic, but also inexpensive. It's definitely worth stopping here for lunch.
Edenkoben Hut at the Hut Fountain
The Edenkoben Hut is significantly larger and more expensive. However, it boasts a truly wide selection of food and a fantastic playground. After your refreshments at the Nello Hut, you return along the same path and cross the main road after the parking lot. A beautifully designed and incredibly diverse playground awaits you there.
Alternative to Hilschweiher
In summer, the path along the stream down into the valley to the Hilschweiher pond is also a great option. The total distance is about 4 km, and the Hilschweiher pond with its waterfalls is a beautiful spot for warm days. However, you will have to walk uphill again at the end. If that doesn't bother you, you'll be very happy here.
