A SPARK OF HOPE TOUR WITH BRIGHTLY ILLUMINATED TRACTORS
Brightly lit tractors in a long parade make countless children's eyes light up.
What began as the "Spark of Hope" tour during the pandemic will continue this year in many communities in the Palatinate region. The tractor convoys travel from place to place, aiming both to draw attention to the problems in agriculture and to offer a spark of hope with their illuminated procession.
In this post I've compiled information on the light tours, emergency vehicle tours and "Sparks of Hope" tours in the Palatinate region, including links to the live location and the planned routes.
All tour dates are subject to change without notice; short-notice changes are possible.

Edenkoben and surrounding area
The illuminated vehicle tour will take place in Edenkoben and the surrounding area on December 6, 2025. It starts and finishes at 5:15 p.m. at the Biffar company premises. The 25 km route leads through Maikammer, Großfischlingen, and Edesheim. Refreshments will be available in the towns and at the start/finish point, with proceeds benefiting the participating clubs.

Donnersberg Light Tours
The Donnersberg Christmas lights bring a smile to the children's faces. We farmers from your region wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Eisenberg – Bolanden
November 29, 2025, Route: Eisenberg → Stauf → Ramsen → Kerzenheim → Göllheim → Elbisheimer Hof → Marnheim → Bolanden
The tour starts at 4 p.m. at the Funk strawberry farm in Eisenberg, then continues via the Eisenberg children's village to Stauf, Ramsen, and Kerzenheim. From there, it proceeds via Göllheim and the Elbisheim farm to Marnheim. The tour concludes in the Bolanden market square, where guests will be welcomed with children's punch, mulled wine, and sausages.

Monsheim – Grünstadt – Altleiningen
December 6, 2025, Route: Monsheim → Bockenheim → Obrigheim → Obersülzen → Grünstadt → Sausenheim → Kleinkarlbach → Altleiningen
The tour starts in Monsheim (“Zum Pokal”) at 4 p.m., continuing via Monsheim train station to Bockenheim, Obrigheim, and Obersülzen. Next, there will be a visit to the Lebenshilfe Grünstadt (a support organization for people with disabilities), before proceeding through Grünstadt and Sausenheim to Kleinkarlbach. The final stop is Altleiningen around 7:15 p.m., where a warm welcome awaits.

Kirchheimbolanden – Zellertal – Einselthum
December 7th, 2025, route: Kirchheimbolanden → Bischheim → Rittersheim → Gauersheim → Albisheim → Immesheim → Ottersheim → Bubenheim → Harxheim → Niefernheim → Zell → Einselthum
The hike starts in Kirchheimbolanden at 4 p.m., then leads through numerous villages in the Zellertal valley: Bischheim, Rittersheim, Gauersheim, Albisheim, Immesheim, and Ottersheim. The route continues via Bubenheim, Harxheim, and Niefernheim to Zell. The hike concludes at the Olaf Bescher winery with mulled wine and refreshments.

Pfeddersheim – Worms – Monsheim
December 13, 2025, Route: Pfeddersheim → Leiselheim → Worms Hospital → Bebelstraße → Lebenshilfe Neuhausen → Abenheim → Gundheim → Flörsheim-Dalsheim → Monsheim
The tour starts in Pfeddersheim at 4 p.m., then continues via Leiselheim to the Worms Hospital. From there, it proceeds along Bebelstrasse to the Lebenshilfe Neuhausen (a local organization supporting people with disabilities). The route then leads through Abenheim and Gundheim to Flörsheim-Dalsheim. The final destination is Monsheim, where guests are invited to enjoy mulled wine and bratwurst from 8 p.m. onwards.

St. Wendel
November 29, 2025, from 6 p.m. through the streets of St. Wendel
Route starting at approximately 6 pm in the parking lot of Center Parcs at Bostalsee: continuing via Eckelhausen, Bosen, Neunkirchen/Nahe, Selbach, Oberthal, Bliesen, Alsfassen, St.-Annen-Straße and finally at approximately 7:30 pm at the skate park in St. Wendel.

VG Winnweiler
December 20, 2025
Departure time: 4:30 pm (starting in Münchweiler)
Route: Münchweiler → Gonbach → Langmeil → Imsbach → Winnweiler → Lohnsfeld
Estimated arrival time: approximately 7:00 PM
VG Rockenhausen
December 6, 2025
Departure time: 5:00 PM (starting in Gehrweiler)
Route: Gehrweiler → Gundersweiler → Imsweiler → Dörnbach → Rockenhausen
Estimated arrival time: approximately 7:00 PM
The event concludes in Rockenhausen with lounge areas, food stalls and opportunities for socializing.
Vorderweidenthal
The tractors will also be driving through Vorderweidenthal on December 14, 2025. The event starts at 5 p.m. Further information about the route will follow later.
Büchelberg
The light parade will take place in Büchelberg in the Southern Palatinate on December 5, 2025, starting at 5 pm.
