Penguins, monkeys and tigers in the heart of Landau - the zoo is easy to navigate and therefore perfect for children.

The walk-through animal areas make the zoo so child-friendly. You can observe and pet the goats up close in their enclosure. Animal food is also available, but the goats can become quite pushy. You can also enter the kangaroo enclosure.
Even outside, you'll be greeted by dromedaries. The circular path to the Siberian tigers is also worthwhile. Sometimes they can be clearly seen through the large glass pane.
Meerkats and zebras can be easily observed from a small platform, and the penguin enclosure is always a big draw for visitors. They can even be seen swimming underwater.
You can watch the monkeys playing and grooming themselves in their enclosure or in their outdoor aviary. Please also note the current feeding times posted on the signs. The playground is a great place for a short break. A kiosk and the zoo's restaurant complete the offerings, allowing you to easily spend a whole day at the zoo.
Money-saving tip
For those who enjoy visiting zoos, the 3-visit ticket (Landau, Heidelberg, and Karlsruhe) is a great option. You can save money depending on the number of children – so do the math beforehand! ✌🏻
