mud and stones
It tickles your feet, it's muddy, sometimes smooth and then very hard again. The different surfaces of the barefoot path knead our senses. You'll have a lot of fun here on hot summer days. The mud pool, in particular, elicited shouts of joy from the children. How wonderfully it squeaks underfoot!
Fee required, but well-maintained
The barefoot path in Ludwigswinkel requires an entrance fee, but it is very well maintained. At the varied stations, we experience different surfaces and wade through water, gravel, or a freshly mown meadow.
Short path, no dogs allowed
The circular route is an easy 1.6 km walk, has no inclines, and is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. At the start of the path, a large playground and several picnic benches await tired legs. The mini-golf course is right next to it, and you'll also find the kiosk here where you can buy tickets for the barefoot path.
Cooling off at Saarbacherhammer
For those who found that not refreshing enough in the summer, they can jump into the lake at the nearby bathing pond “Saarbacherhammer”.
