The tour in detail
You start at the "Wasserscheide" hiking parking lot in Eppenbrunn. You can find the direct link to directions below . From there, cross the main road and take the forest path on the left. It leads you into the forest through a bend, and the Kappenfelsen (Cap Rock) is signposted. Follow the path until the trail to the Kappenfelsen is signposted. It leads you to the viewpoint and a small group of benches.
Following the same path, you'll rejoin the main trail after the viewpoint and continue on to the Christkindlfelsen (Christ Child Rock). This path is also signposted. From here, it's just a few meters to the Hohe List. The playground is already visible.
For the return journey, follow the narrower path marked with the Eulenfels tour symbol. This will lead you back to the parking lot.

Krappenfels & Christkindlfelsen – Views with an adventure factor
Both rocks offer beautiful views of the Palatinate Forest and invite you to take a short break.
Traditionally, children's wishes for the Christkind hang on the Christkindlfelsen rock – especially during Advent, the hike is therefore a very atmospheric experience.
⚠️ Important for families: There is a risk of falling from the rocks. Small holes, unsecured areas, and barriers that are not childproof require constant supervision . However, the tour is quite manageable with attentive parents.
