Are you feeling really brave? At Smart Climb in Mannheim, you'll reach new heights. Kids (minimum height 1.1m) can climb the routes – whether it's stormy or snowing outside!
For children's birthday parties, we have special rooms available where you can eat and drink or store your backpacks.
Children up to 12 years old must be supervised by an adult; one adult can supervise a maximum of three children. You can choose between the "Basic" package and the "Carefree" package (including food). Prices start at €13 per person (for groups of 4 to 12). You can easily book your date in advance via our website.
Your own private cinema
Cineplex, Neustadt
An entire cinema just for you! It's possible at Cineplex Neustadt for kids up to 11 years old. For a total price of €99 (for up to 10 people, 2D films), you can choose a film from the current program or bring your own Blu-ray!
For groups larger than 10, additional adults/accompanying persons/children pay €9.90 each. The price includes a birthday menu: mini popcorn and a 0.3l soft drink for each child.
Dynamic children's birthday party

Over 160 interactive exhibits invite you to tinker and play, and along the way, young and old explorers alike will learn many exciting things about the wide world of science in a playful way!
Tables can be reserved with the option of a 'birthday table'.
In addition, the adjacent Strecktal valley offers an adventure playground, a volleyball court, and plenty of space to play and run around, because even researchers need a creative break sometimes! The birthday child receives free admission.
Knight's birthday at Trifels Castle
Trifels Castle, Annweiler
On a discovery tour through Trifels Castle, participants will learn about the castle's history and discover much about imperial rule, knighthood, and castle construction in the Middle Ages. In addition, there's a craft workshop where children can explore the topic creatively. The birthday party concludes with roasting bread on sticks in the outer bailey on the west side of the castle grounds.

Exhaust yourself, hang out
PETZ Boulder Hall, Neustadt
At the bouldering gym in Neustadt, kids can really let loose: higher, further, faster – under expert guidance, children learn what bouldering is all about and why the holds are so different colors.
And just because you're faster doesn't necessarily mean you'll last longer: climbing with brute force alone will quickly lead to exhaustion – it's all about the right technique! So grab a snack, have a drink, and get right back to the wall! The bouldering gym in Neustadt has a dedicated children's area with great, age-appropriate routes. If they're feeling brave, they can then check out the routes for the adults. Suitable for children aged 5 and up.
Climbing shoes can be rented on-site, but are not required.

Birthday in the Sand Room
Lea Lautenschläger, Kandel
Lea Lautenschläger has created a haven of well-being for the youngest children with her SandRaum (Sand Room) in Kandel – a place where they can explore and create in an age-appropriate way: In the SandRaum, sand is allowed to trickle onto the floor without disturbing anyone.
This is based on the Pikler pedagogy concept. Lea Lautenschläger, a trained occupational therapist, also offers pottery classes. For planning an exceptional children's birthday party, simply contact her directly.

Paddling fun on the Old Rhine
Naturspur e.V., Otterstadt
The Naturspur e.V. association organizes a guided canoe trip on the Old Rhine to Koller Island for children aged 8 and up who can swim. A picnic completes the nature experience. At least one adult must accompany the group.
The birthday party lasts a total of 4 hours and includes a thorough briefing, as well as canoes and equipment.

Lobby for Children e.V., Klingenmünster
Themed birthday parties for all ages – the "Lobby für Kinder e.V." adventure playground in Klingenmünster offers a wide range of activities for children. You can choose a suitable theme and rent the grounds for your party. This is also possible without a program (from €45 without a program, from €95 with a program).
Playing in nature and interacting with animals (goats, rabbits, and chickens) gives children the opportunity to explore their environment with all their senses.
The Native American teepee, the willow teepee, the adventure forest playground, and various play areas by the stream and in the meadow are available for your use. Birthday at the riding stable
Giehl Riding Stables, Herxheim
Come with your friends to the Giehl Riding Stables in Herxheim and experience a real equestrian birthday party. The birthday parties can be themed (mermaids, knights, etc.) and include lots of games and interaction with the horses under the guidance of an instructor.
Food and drinks can be arranged upon request or you are welcome to bring your own. Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear are essential. Riding helmets are provided by the stables. A riding birthday party (3 to 4 hours) for up to 10 children, including drinks and an instructor, costs from €200.
Museum detectives

A mysterious case is keeping the museum busy. Can you help? A naturalist's diary and a forgotten suitcase will provide clues as you search the museum and work together to solve the mystery.

Operation Fox Hunt – While putting your skills to the test in exciting outdoor challenges, you'll complete the training program of the top-secret Puzzles Agency. Equipped with iPads and top-secret game materials, you'll solve the mystery of this outdoor scavenger hunt.
A fantastic birthday party for children aged 7 and up, guaranteed to banish boredom. This adventure costs from €129 for a group of up to 9 children. Your tour starts at the Puzzles premises in Landau and lasts approximately two to three hours. From there, you'll be taken to the Landau State Garden Show grounds, where your agent training begins. The group must be accompanied by an adult.

Janina Pister is a gifted storyteller – she brings her "Chatterbox" to your daycare or home for your child's birthday party.
The puppet theater is suitable for toddlers and preschoolers aged 2 and up.
